The Baltimore Marathon 2010 starts at 8:00 am EST.
The start line is at Russell and Camden Streets and the finish line is in the same area.
22,000 runners are expected to participate. The route will take runners on a scenic course through several Baltimore neighborhoods.The Inner Harbor Waterfront, Fells Point, and Federal Hill are part of the course. As the terrain is not all flat, it's not that easy to run.
There are cash prizes for the winners. The cash prizes for the top 8 overall male and female finishers are:
1st $23,000, 2nd $14,000, 3rd $8,000, 4th $5,000, 5th $3,000, 6th $2,000, 7th $1,500, 8th $1,200
The Baltimore Marathon is so far the only marathon with complete live video coverage available on the internet.

Visitors and participants can upload their own stories, pictures and videos by going to Smash, the social media story telling platform.
