Thea Vidale Is Momma Benjamin

Meet Thea Vidale, Momma Benjamin or at least that is what she is called in her role on WWE. She is also a stand up comedian and actress hailing from Washington, DC. Vidale has guest-starred on a number of television shows including Ellen, My Wife and Kids and The Wayans Brothers, but perhaps you will remember Thea most for her self-titled sitcom. Read more about Vidale and see photos and a video here!

Thea Vidale is a comedian who grew up in Washington, DC. She was born on November 20, 1956, which makes her to be 53 years old at the time of this writing. Vidale endured a lot of heartbreak and betrayal during her relationship to her baby's daddy and during that very abusive relationship she discovered that she was sexually attracted to both men and women.

It was back in 1999 that Vidale took a stand for GLBT and represented at her first event at the Philadelphia GLBT Pride Fest, alongside comedian Etta May.

Believe it or not but Vidale was also a very active character with the World Wrestling Entertainment company, starting back in 2006. Thea Thea Vidale made her debut on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in January 2006. She played the mother of Shelton Benjamin and came to be known as Momma Benjamin. One of the most memorable and shocking moments as her role as Momma was when her son Shelton was set to face the wrestler known as The Big Show. It was after he screamed in Momma's face that Vidale passed out! Now that was definitely not staged as it was discovered that Thea had suffered a heart arrhythmia. Not cool!

See photos and a video of Thea Vidale as Momma Benjamin in addition to some footage of her as a stand up comedian below. I must admit, she is pretty funny!
