An article in Us Magazine reported Wednesday that pop sensation Beyonce Knowles, 29, and her rapper husband Jay-Z, are expecting their first child. The Beyonce pregnancy apparently came as a surprise to the couple. An unnamed source reported that, B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn t ready to be a mother just yet. She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.
Another source added, This is a gift from God and she's so happy.
Beyonce married Jay-Z, 40, in a low-profile ceremony in 2008. They are notoriously private about their relationship. However, in the past Beyonce has made no secret of her desire to have kids.
Nothing has been confirmed about the pregnancy from Beyonce or Jay-Z, but Us is reporting that B is in her first trimester.
False rumors of a Beyonce pregnancy have rumbled through the media in the past, most recently in March when U.S. website Mediatakeout reported Jay-Z was extremely happy to be having his first child with Bey.
