Comedienne THEA VIDALE says she PLANS ON HAVING GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY to combat the complications of DIABETES.
Vidale, a 53-year-old comedienne and actress who once made frequent appearances at World Wresting Entertainment matches as, made her comments on the R-rated Howard Stern Show on SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio on Thursday.
"I have four children," she said about her upcoming surgery.
Vidale did not specify when she plans to have the operation, which changes the way a person's stomach and small intestine handles food and makes them feel fuller after consuming less than usual. Most patients lose up to 20 pounds a month during the first year following the procedure, according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
