Victoria Rathgeb, former Playboy Playmate, charged with attempted murder

VICTORIA RATHGEB, FORMER PLAYBOY PLAYMATE, CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER

Victoria Rathgeb, who appeared in the Roman Polanski film Rosemary's Baby as a recovering heroin addict and was once a Playboy Playmate, has been charged with attempted murder.

According to the district attorney's office, Rathgeb, 66, pleaded not guilty to trying to kill a man identified by sources as her husband, Bruce Rathgeb by shooting him in her Hollywood, California apartment on Saturday.

The incident allegedly occurred during a domestic dispute.

A police spokesperson, Norma Eisenman, said Bruce remains in critical condition, according to the Orange County Register.

Rathgeb was Playboy's 1968 Playmate of the Year using the name Angela Dorian. In addition to Rosemary's Baby she appeared in a number of films and TV shows in the 1960s and 1970s.
