6 Things About Junior Seau – Another Fallen Sports Icon

Football legend JUNIOR SEAU had always been a well-respected figure in not just the sports world but in his community off the field as well. But sadly he is joining the long list of fallen athletes who are caught behaving badly. On Monday Junior Seau drove his car off a cliff, and this dramatic auto accident happened just hours after he was arrested for alleged domestic violence against his 24-year-old live-in girlfriend. But before this day, he was doing lots and lots of good. Here are 6 things about Junior Seau and what he did for children, adults and the community before his fall.

In 1991 he founded that the Seau Foundation. This charitable organization raises money for drug awareness, preventing child abuse, and raising money for college scholarships.

He has not one but two restaurants in Southern California called Seau s, a casual dining spot with a focus on sports.

Seau is proud of his Samoan heritage, he puts on events such as sister city between Samoa and San Diego county.

He owns a clothing line which is called Say-Ow.

Seau recently had his own TV show called Sports Jobs with Junior Seau it aired from January to March of 2010, but the show has not been renewed.
