What's On In London At The Weekend: 5-7 November

What are you up to this weekend? Here's a round up of our recommendations and a smattering of suggestions to help you make the most of your 48 hours leisure time.

ALL WEEKEND:

FRIDAY:

SATURDAY:

* The Throwback Vintage Festival celebrates with a fair for shopping all afternoon and a night of music and live performance. At Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes. Free before 8pm, then tickets £5 adv. From midday till 3am.
* The international film festival Future Shorts presents short film screenings at Shoreditch's Village Underground at 7pm, with a fusion of installation art, design, music and interactivity to launch their new monthly global event. Tickets £10.
* Boosh man Rich Fulcher gets his own comedy fest at the Bull and Gate, Kentish Town with Fulchfest at 8.30pm, starring one of our recent favourites, Colin Hoult. Sketches and irreverence throughout the night. Tickets £10.

SUNDAY:

* Take a walk in the beautiful 1,000 acre River Lee Country Park and discover a world of lakes, waterways, green open spaces and countryside areas. Meet at Fishers Green Car Park, Stubbins Hall Lane, Waltham Abbey EN9 2EF. 10.30M-12.30pm, free.
* Cultivation is an eclectic combination of short films, chilled out music and performance at Counter Culture, Crucifix Lane, SE1 between 1-7pm. £2.
* Moscow Drug Club at Le QuecumBar comes recommended by Run Riot as. From 6pm, Le QuecumBar 42-44 Battersea High Street SW11 3HX. Tickets £12 adv.

OTHER GOOD STUFF:

Lots of arty stuff opens this week. There are gigs to go to and literary events to listen at. Plus, if you're feeling the pinch, there's frugal fun for everyone.
