New York City Marathon This Morning

The 2010 New York City Marathon begins this morning at 9 a.m.

In New York: The race will be broadcast live exclusively on NBC 4 New York beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the pre-race warm up and continuing through the race across all five boroughs, the bridges, and to the finish line until 2:00 p.m. A two-hour highlight show will follow on NBC Sports (NBC 4 in New York) from 2 to 4 p.m.

In the United States: NBC Sports will broadcast a two-hour highlight show nationwide, from 2 to 4 p.m.; check local listings for details. In the New York metro area, NBC Sports is on NBC 4 New York.

Former New York Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer is running the marathon to raise money for New York Road Runner's Foundation Youth Programs.
