Actress Jill Clayburgh Dies At 66

Jill Clayburgh, a well-known veteran movie and stage actress passed away at the age of 66 at her home in Lakeville Conn.

According to her husband David Rabe, Jill had suffered from chronic lymphocytic leukemia for nearly 21 years.

Jill Clayburgh, who used to describe herself as a rather shy person, was basically famous for portraying the vulnerabilities and strengths of modern day women, which won her a huge list of loyal fan following.

Her career highlight was the role that she played as a divorced woman in An Unmarried Woman . She starts going through her options and all the opportunities that rise in her life. This particular 1978 movie won her two Academy Award nominations.
